All right. This is going to be my first real post. My wife's record is about 12 comments on a post. She says, "I am not doing it for that anymore." Well I am. Why else would I waste my time posting it.....for the world to see of course. So lets see if I can beat her twelve posts on my first try. Come on, Help a guy out here. The best part is, I am using her blog as the only way to get exposure to mine, which would make the victory even more sweet. (now Kim is trying to tell me the proper grammar is "even sweeter" not the way I put it. Oh well, I don't care, it's my blog! She says it sounds like I am from Fintuckey. Well she's the one from there not me. Sounds like a duplex to me, I mean complex.
So the purpose of this post is to have a little fun as Kim and I struggle over whether or not to have another little baby. Although we definitely know that we don't want a huge baby, were not sure on the little one. I put together a quick survey, but I think the comments would be more fun to read. So I hope you take part in this survey and don't forget to leave a little comment and have your friends do the same so I can have a little victory here, and eat a huge bowl of ice cream in front of Kimi. She just say, "I didn't want any anyway." (there she goes making fun of my typing again)
Thanks everyone till next time.

Well, I'm so qualified to answer this question for you and your sweet wife...ya know cuz I've actually NEVER met her..we just correspond through blogging...
My answer is that if you're unsure about not wanting another baby, you probably should stay away from the temple! I know too many people who were teetering on the fence, and then went to the temple and guess what they got? AN ANSWER! They all thankfully followed the inspiration that they received and had another baby, but it was funny to me!
From what I've seen(ya know...read) about your family, and your lovely wife, I think ANY baby would be so blessed to come into your home. What the heck, I say go for it!
After having my first one I can see how people would want to have 6 or 7. I really don't know you guys that well as a family, and I find it odd that I would choose tonight to sit down and review some of my emails, so there must be a reason but I have no idea what you should choose. Personally, most things are about finances for me, but if that is not holding you back then why not have another one? Just going over Kim's blog and my first thoughts are--she is a wonderful mom, very introspective. She can see her weaknesses and her strengths. she knows what works for her and what doesn't. Thanks to Kim for all of the mommy advice--sometimes the best advice is just knowing about an experience someone else has had. This email has not given you a real answer, but nothing is definite--except maybe scientific laws. Best of luck with your choice. Hope your lives are full of happy times.
Ok I am a qualified friend who is a BIG fan of this couple they inspire me with their love for eachother and the love they have for the kids they already have. I actually would like to have more myself BUT I think in my present "single" status the church may frown on that and I do value my membership.
You two are the most amazing and wonderful couple- all those spirits up there have to come down and get a body-if its not in your home they will take their chances on another home- (ok that is from an actual talk from general conference- no kidding) I had never thought of it that way.
I love you guys and I think Kim is adorable pregnant or otherwise actually she is beautiful (I carry your family picture around and show it to people (I am quite sure they are impressed that I know a supermodal who looks good after so many children!!)
Love you guys!!(good luck with the blog Jeff but just remember that you are only getting these comments because of Kim's blog- so don't get all cocky!!)
Love ME!!
Big families are so much fun. Once the kids get older everything's so much easier. It's easy to think that when there are still a lot of little ones life will always be that intense, but when kids can babysit and change diapers, it's a whole new world!
Kim I know you want more so have another. You guys are good parents so why not! I think it is always a good idea. Mulitply and replenish the earth, that is what I always say. And check out Randy's blog.. you all can comment on each others.
Jeff. Having known you for so many freaking years. I say "whatever ya want". If you have more kids, you'll have a blast. if you stop now, you can enjoy not have diapers. And that is a HUGE BLESSING. besides, We have an eternity to multiply and replenish, but only a few more years to get out and have fun until our bodies fall apart."Being grown up is half as fun and growing up."
Go for it! Our baby needs a cousin to play with! We are going to have a baby this fall so watch out! On the other hand, if you decide not to..... you can always just come love on mine.
